Hot on the heels of the vivo V60 Lite 5G announcement comes the 4G model. This one is a smaller upgrade, though.
Let’s recap – the V60 Lite 5G brought a more powerful chipset than what was inside the V50 Lite 5G, added HDR support to the screen, 4K video recording to the camera and slimmed down the design a bit. Note that the V50 Lite 4G and 5G were announced in March, so they are only half a year old.
Now focusing on the vivo V60 Lite 4G, we see that its 6.77” 1080p+ 120Hz OLED display has gained 10-bit colors, but it seems to lack HDR10+ support – at least we don’t see anything in the specs about it. The new panel has the same brightness as before, 1,800 nits peak.

The other upgrade worth mentioning is that there is an 8MP ultra-wide camera on the back, taking the place of the 2MP depth sensor that was on the old model. Now the 4G model is up to par with its 5G sibling.
The other two cameras on board are the 50MP main on the rear, which uses the same 1/1.95” Sony IMX882 sensor, and the 32MP 1/3.1” selfie camera on the front. One of the key upgrades on the V60 Lite 5G was the addition of 4K video recording, however, it only got that because of its new chipset.

The vivo V60 Lite 4G doesn’t get a chipset upgrade. Instead, it keeps using the immortal Snapdragon 685, which tops out at 1080p. It also has less RAM to work with, 8GB of LPDDR4X, though it gets the same storage, 256GB of UFS 2.2.
Some of the connectivity features are old too and we don’t mean just the 4G modem. The Wi-Fi version is not listed (presumably Wi-Fi 5/802.11ac like on the V50 Lite 4G), Bluetooth version is 5.0. And, of course, the USB-C port is wired only for 2.0 speeds. At least there’s NFC.
The battery system is unchanged, but it was already one of the highlights on the old Lite. The battery has plenty of capacity, 6,500mAh, which can last over 27 hours of video playback on a single charge. Speaking of charging, the phone supports super-fast 90W charging. According to vivo, the 24 layers of protection will keep the battery healthy for at least 5 years.

Like its 5G sibling, the V60 Lite 4G is slimmer than its predecessor – it measures 7.59mm thick, down from 7.8mm. The weight is basically the same at 194g. Like before, the phone is rated IP65 (dust tight, protection against water jets).
The vivo V60 Lite 4G appeared on vivo’s website in Turkey. You can find it on the online store where the 8/256GB model costs TRY 22,000 ($530/€450/₹47,000). This is up from TRY 19,000 for an 8/256GB vivo V50 Lite 4G. And yes, it’s pricey, but that’s how local prices go – the more premium vivo V60 is TRY 40,000 (12/256GB), for example.
