YouTube is having trouble with loading the comment section under its videos – some think that this is an anti-adblock measure. Multiple users on Reddit are reporting encountering the issue. For some, the video description also fails to load, not just the comments.
People have tried multiple workarounds, e.g. refreshing the page seems to work occasionally, which suggests that this is a regular site issue. However, the most reliable “workaround” discovered so far is turning off the ad blocker.

What’s curious is that even some YouTube Premium subscribers are affected. With previous anti-adblock measures, Google spared Premium users, but this time they may have suffered some collateral damage.
Recently, Google closed the background playback loopholes for free users (but the feature is still available to Premium subscribers) and started limiting lyrics on YouTube Music (free users get to see 5 lyrics a month).
For what it’s worth, a quick check with Chrome + uBlock Origin Lite showed no issue on a YouTube Premium account (also when signed out). Are you seeing this issue?
