Nothing Phone (4a) gets certified ahead of launch

by Ohio Digital News

The Nothing Phone (3a) and (3a) Pro launched last March, and so their successors are probably only a few weeks away at this point. The Nothing Phone (4a) Pro was first spotted in an IMEI listing all the way back in September, then a leak in December detailed both upcoming devices giving us some specs, and earlier this month Nothing confirmed a storage upgrade for at least one of the models, along with a possible price hike.

Now, the Nothing Phone (4a) may have been certified in the UAE by TDRA, with the model number A069. For reference, note that the aforementioned IMEI listing of the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro gave it the model number A069P (“P” for Pro, so it tracks).

The TDRA certification hasn’t revealed any specs for the Nothing Phone (4a) unfortunately, but the fact that it’s been certified implies the launch is going to happen quite soon. Of course, we’ll let you know when we find out more about that.

In the meantime, if you’re wondering what to expect from the mid-range duo aside from the price hike, the Pro will allegedly support eSIM, and both should be powered by Snapdragon 7 series chipsets, though exact models haven’t been outed yet. One or both of the phones will be offered in blue, pink, white, and black, and at least one of them will officially get UFS 3.1 storage.
