Meizu 22 debuts with 6.3-inch display, Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC

The Meizu 22 has officially launched in China as the company’s latest flagship. It features some of the slimmest display bezels on a smartphone and a compact design.

Meizu 22 sports a 6.3-inch OLED LTPO panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz, 1.5K resolution, and 6,000 nits of peak brightness. It features 1.2mm thin uniform side bezels, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, and offers a 96.4% screen-to-body ratio.

The handset is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC, which is paired with up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of internal storage. It comes with a 4,500 mm² vapor cooling chamber as well.

At the back, the Meizu 22 has a triple camera setup with a primary 50 MP OV50H sensor that offers OIS. The phone also gets a 50 MP ultrawide camera and another 50 MP periscope telephoto unit with 3x optical zoom. On the front, the device has a 50 MP sensor.

The Meizu 22 houses a 5,500mAh battery that offers 80W wired and 66W wireless charging support. It carries IP66/IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance. The phone is 8.15mm thin and weighs 190g. It runs Android 15-based Flyme AIOS 2 out-of-the-box with several AI features included.

Meizu 22 is available for purchase in Borderless Black, White, and Love Pink color options.

Pricing in China starts at CNY 2,999 ($420) for the 12 GB/256 GB variant, whereas the 12 GB/512 GB model costs CNY 3,399 ($480). The 16 GB/512 GB option is priced at CNY 3,699 ($520), and the 16 GB/1 TB version is CNY 4,199 ($590).
