
Jarrett Gfeller, 44, of Damascus passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at the Cleveland Clinic after a long battle from complications following heart surgery.
He was born in Salem, Ohio on Sept. 15, 1977, the son of Albert and Wendy (Martig) Gfeller. He was the owner/operator of Hardwood Ranch Sales and was a Machinist at Cardinal Pump in Salem. Jarrett was involved in many things, especially if it included the outdoors. He liked to sell farm equipment, attend auctions, working on tractors, going to tractor pulls, selling pumpkins in the fall,and hunting. He was a member of the Columbiana County Antique Tractor Association. However most important to him was spending time with his wife Ladine and their daughter Kinley.
Survivors include his wife Ladine (Salona) Gfeller, whom he married on Oct. 3, 2009; his 9-year-old daughter, Kinley Claire Gfeller; his parents; father-in-law Clifford Salona of Middlefield; a brother, Jason (Lorie) Gfeller of Toledo; two sisters-in-law, Cheryl (Tom) Clingerman and Marla Yoder both of Middlefield; four nieces and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Diane Salona; brother-in-law, Rodney Yoder; his paternal grandparents Albert and Ruby Gfeller and his maternal grandparents Jesse and Janice Martig.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home in Sebring with Pastor Vernon Palo officiating. Visitation will be held the same day two hours prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Burial will take place at Bunker Hill Cemetery.
