Today we explore the inside of the abandoned Westland Mall in Columbus Ohio. Opening in 1969, Westland Mall was the prime shopping destination for the western suburbs of Columbus through the 70s and 80s. However the 90s would spark trouble for Westland Mall as the area was becoming bad, and Tuttle Crossing Mall opened in 1997 12 minutes away. The 2000s would be really bad as tenants fled Westland in favor of Tuttle Crossing. At last, Westland Mall would close it’s doors for good in 2012. The property has sat abandoned ever since, and is in horrible shape. Let’s check out the inside of Westland Mall 10 years after closing!
