Israeli tanks and troops were stationed along the border with Lebanon on October 19, while plumes of smoke rose from a fire on the Israeli side of the borders, from what seems is a hit from the Lebanon side.
This came as troops prepared for a ground assault on the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip in the country’s hit back for an unprecedented assault on its territory, and Iran warned of “far-reaching consequences” if Israel’s bombardment was not stopped.
