Country superstar Luke Combs is headlining Buckeye Country Superfest.

Buckeye Country Superfest is ready for its return to Ohio Stadium.

The stadium is likely to be well-packed when Superfest returns on Saturday afternoon and evening.

“People are excited to come back to live events and we’re excited to have them back,” said David Redelberger, director of interactive marketing for the Schottenstein Center and Nationwide Arena. “It’s always fun to break out of the arenas and do a big show over there.”

The stadium began hosting Buckeye Country Superfest in 2015, with different lineups every year, and continued until 2019, after which it was interrupted by COVID.

This year, it is the only concert scheduled at the stadium, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary, though more concerts are likely in the future.

“We’re always looking for artists that we can bring into the stadium for big events,” Redelberger said. “It’s tough because there aren’t a lot of acts that can fill a place this big.”
