This article provides two amazing locations to set up an early-game base in StarRupture where you will have access to plenty of resources and slim chances of encountering monsters.
Best locations to set up a starting base in StarRupture
Location 1

The first recommended location to set up an early-game base in StarRupture is a spot located northeast of where you begin the game. Simply continue straight after getting off from your orbital lander to find the circular clearing, marked on the map above. You can then place a Base Core here to begin developing.
This location offers two main advantages. No enemy spawns nearby, as well as several minerals and resources nearby. You can find Copper and Wolfram in the north, Titanium in the east, and Calcium in the southwest of this area.

Location 2

The second location we recommend for building your starter base can be found southeast of the previous one. Just traverse the path in that direction until you find a clearing with a water body and set up a Base Core at a suitable spot. It is a good place to set up camp, as you can mostly find all the resources nearby.
As you can see in the image, you can get Titanium and Helium from the northwest direction, along with Copper in the northern area. Additionally, there are Calcium and Sulphur deposits on the eastern front, making this region a great place to begin your adventure, as you will have access to nearly everything.
