A 12-year-old boy shot himself in the hand at a barber shop in the Bronx on Tuesday afternoon, sources told The Post.
Officers went to The Master Barber Shop at 892 Home Street at about 1:30 p.m. after someone called 911 to report a shooting, cops said.
Police found a 12-year-old boy who was conscious and alert — but had a bullet wound on his hand, police said.
Sources said the shooting appeared to be self-inflicted, and the kid was in the bathroom when the gun went off.
A surveillance camera posted outside the shop caught a group of kids fleeing the scene afterward —and recorded one of the kids as what looks like a pistol falls from his waistband.
The boy stops, looks down, then grabs the handgun and holds it close as he bounds away, the video showed.
It’s not clear who the kids are, or what connection they had to the shooting.
Authorities brought the 12-year-old to Harlem Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
