Crow Charmer’s primary game plan revolves around bypassing enemy guard and setting the opponent up for air combos. This is mainly facilitated by her regular attack chain, the final hit of which can pierce enemy guard. While it is a delayed hit, it will likely catch the opponent off-guard, especially early in the character’s lifespan when players are still unfamiliar with her moveset.
Her regular attack uppercut in neutral and front dash near a ragdolled target can pull her upward, setting up air combo possibilities. This property is present in her Special as well, which will have her hop on the enemy, rendering both her and the opponent airborne. In neutral play, getting around her different ways to gain priority can be rather challenging.
Crow Charmer is the latest base-only character, meaning her Awakening gauge will only cause her to perform a skill rather than trigger a transformation. This skill has her summon crows that heal her HP by 75 points, which is three-quarters of her total health pool. It can be quite helpful in a pinch, incentivizing you to save it for when you need it.
Currently, she is an Early Access character, meaning her kit is not set in stone and is subject to change. Once her moveset is finalized, she will be made available for all players to use for free.

Crow Charmer moveset
As of her initial implementation, Crow Charmer has access to the following skills:
- Impetus Updraft: Use an axe to swing upwards, dragging her and the opponent into the air for combo extensions. Can bypass ragdoll.
- Circling: An advancing spinning slash move with a circular area of effect. Can be extended by holding the button down. Can bypass ragdoll. Useful for getting damage off in neutral.
- Circling (Aerial variant): The spinning slash now slams the opponent into the ground. Can bypass ragdoll. Useful as a combo ender.
- Gliding Flight: Perform a vertical spinning slash. Can bypass ragdoll. Useful as a combo ender.
- Gliding Flight (Aerial variant): Vertical spinning slash that spikes the opponent into the ground and causes them to bounce right back up. Can be used as a combo extender. Can bypass ragdoll.
- Bird Control: Summon a crow to fly around the map for up to three seconds. Can be used as an attack if an opponent is in sight.
