What happened in The Witcher season 3?
In Netflix’s The Witcher season 3, the trio of Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri travel from place to place, trying to avoid capture after Rience’s threat from season 2. The time together allows the trio to form a semblance of a family and grow closer together, but their plan of hiding is always going to come to an end.
Ciri continues to struggle with her magic throughout the third season, which also sees her using fire magic. And based on Yennefer’s story from season 2, Ciri using fire magic and the presence of her visions will have some grave consequences, haunted by the idea that her power could potentially cause pain to others and even kill them.
While she’s eager to fulfill her destiny and unite the two worlds at the beginning of the season, all that changed. She ends up relinquishing her powers and trying to live a normal life. While there are bouts of reunions for Geralt, Ciri, and Yennefer, they spend most of season 3 on a journey of their own.
