Oppo has announced the Pad 5 Android tablet and a budget smartwatch called the Watch S. The devices were unveiled today in China alongside the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro.
Oppo Pad 5
The Pad 5 tablet comes with a 12.1-inch LCD display that has 3000 × 2120 pixels resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz. The screen offers a peak brightness of 900nits, Dolby Vision support, and a 7:5 aspect ratio.
It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ SoC, paired with the Immortalis G925 MC12 GPU. As for memory and storage, the Oppo Pad 5 offers up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage.
At the back, the tablet has an 8MP camera, and you’ll find another 8MP camera on the front for selfies and video calling. The Pad 5 packs a 10,420mAh battery with support for 67W wired fast charging.
The Oppo Pad 5 is 5.99mm thin and weighs 577g. It comes with six speakers and runs Android 16-based ColorOS 16. The tablet is available in Lucky Purple, Galaxy Silver, and Space Gray color options.
Oppo Watch S
The Oppo Watch S sports a circular 1.46-inch AMOLED display with 464 x 464 pixels resolution and a peak brightness of 3,000nits. The watch is 8.9mm thin and weighs 35g without the strap.
It comes with several health tracking sensors such as a heart rate monitor, pulse oximeter, ECG sensor, and wrist temperature sensor. The smartwatch offers dual-band GPS, Bluetooth 5.2, and runs ColorOS Watch 7.1.
The Watch S has 4GB of internal storage and is equipped with a BES2800BP chipset. It packs a 330mAh battery that is claimed to deliver up to 10 days of usage.
Oppo’s Watch S is available in Vibrant Green, Rhythmic Silver, and Racing Black colors.
