Spring has sprung in New York State and what better way to celebrate than at a colorful flower festival! Join in the seasonal splendor at Buffalo’s beloved Cherry Blossom Festival (April 27-28), featuring cultural displays and activities, food vendors, and live entertainment. Get a taste of Holland and tiptoe your way through the tulips at the Meadowbrook Farm Tulip Walk in the Catskills (April 27), Mohonk Tulip Fest in the Hudson Valley (April 29-May 10), and Waterdrinker Family Farm & Garden Tulip Festival starting in April on Long Island. The Village of Nyack is launching its 2024 street fair season with SpringFest, where families and fun-seekers are invited to join the celebration with live entertainment, mouth-watering food, and outdoor dining plus hundreds of vendors offering jewelry, art, photography, collectibles, antiques, quality handmade crafts, unique gifts, and much more! Nyack; free admission, and parking is free throughout the village on Sundays, both on the street and in the five municipal parking lots.

Raise your spirits celebrating New York State’s great breweries, wineries, and distilleries at the Grapes & Hops festival, coming to Northwest Arena in Jamestown. This 21+ event features dozens of beverage vendors offering samplings of hand-crafted beer, local wines, and spirits. You’ll also enjoy great food, live music and entertainment, and much more. A limited number of VIP tickets are available, allowing early entry to the vendor floor, a commemorative pint glass, and exclusive access to a VIP lounge with complimentary small bites. Head over to Robert Moses State Park for a fun-filled day of kite flying, entertainment, and community spirit! Witness skilled kite flyers demonstrate their artistry with colorful kites soaring in the sky. Kids can enjoy a sweet treat as candies rain down from the sky during the candy drop. Best of all, you can bring your own kite and join in the fun as you feel the wind lift your kite high above the beach. The day will also feature a bubble maker, food and merchandise vendors, live entertainment and more! Reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates. Oh, my! Spend a fun and educational day with the whole family interacting with live reptiles and learning about their behavior, habitats, and conservation. You’ll attend informative sessions by reptile experts and enthusiasts, browse over 250 vendor booths for reptile-related products, including food, enclosures, and accessories, and connect with fellow reptile lovers to share interests and experiences! Cherry blossom season is in full bloom! The Brooklyn Botanic Garden boasts over 200 cherry trees of more than 26 varieties, creating a stunning canopy of white and pink blossoms that transform the landscape of this urban oasis into a picturesque wonder.
