No experience is more heartrending
Than having to put down a beloved pet
But that dog or cat will be waiting
To greet you at heaven’s door
When your time here on earth is over
You will be blessed and can rest easy
When the first thing you see through the light
Is your happy pet running toward you
That’s when you’ll know
